Three Gremlins Literary welcomes thoughtful, polished queries from writers seeking long-term representation. Please review the guidelines below before submitting.
How to Submit
Keep it simple.
Queries are accepted by email only. Please send one project per email and follow the subject-line format below.
Initial submissions should the first ten pages in PDF form attached to the email. In the email, please give a short one paragraph description of your book.
02 / MATERIALS
Paste your query.
Include your query letter, synopsis, and the first ten pages of the manuscript. Your first ten pages should be put in a PDF and attached to the email.
03 / SEND
One project at a time.
Submit only one manuscript per query. If invited to send additional material, reply to the original email thread.
What to Include
Give us what we need to evaluate the work.
Fiction manuscripts should be complete before querying. Your submission should contain the following information.
Query Letter
Your pitch, brief author bio, and relevant
publication or professional background.
Book Information
Title, genre/category, age market, and total word count.
Synopsis
A concise synopsis that includes the ending.
Spoilers are expected.
First 10 Pages
Attach the first ten pages in a PDF document in your query email.
Comparable Titles
If appropriate, include two or three recent books
that help communicate the audience or market for
your project.
Submission Policy

Our goal is to make the querying process clear, respectful, and manageable for both authors and the agency.
Simultaneous queries are welcome.
You do not need to query Three Gremlins Literary exclusively. If you accept representation elsewhere, simply withdraw your submission.
No reading fees.
Three Gremlins Literary does not charge authors to submit work, read manuscripts, or consider representation.
No attachments initially.
Please paste requested materials into the email. Attachments should only be sent after the agency specifically requests them.
Please be patient.
Response times will vary with submission volume. Current response-time information will be posted here as the agency's query volume develops.
